If you have been pondering as to where Muffina and her friends have been, it is because I have been working on my first ever solo art show! I am very nervous but mostly excited. My anxiety was through the roof (and through the atmosphere reaching all the way to Mars) earlier, but with help from my father who is a woodworker, we have managed to make all the frames ourselves. I have also been busy working on the promoting side and the business side.
I am working on the next comic which is based off my experience in XCOM 2 and the outline to another comic which is based off a discussion between Team Fortress 2 and Overwatch. Course, whenever I hear the word "overwatch", I immediately think of an XCOM soldier waiting for any sudden enemy movements. How many hours have I put into the XCOM games? According to Steam, I have played a combine total of 197 hours of both XCOM: Enemy Unknown\Enemy Within and XCOM 2.
Well, back to work.

Had to turn down the difficulty level...
Yep, after getting my ass handed to me in XCOM 2, I decided to bite the bullet and turn down the difficulty level. We still lost Gordon Freeman to an Acid Alien's fist strike. XCOM 2 rakes up the difficulty and provides several new challenges and decisions to make. If you try to play this game like the previous one Enemy Unknown, then you will get your ass kicked straight into Mars. You probably have heard about the dreaded timers. After putting 35 hours into the game thus far, timers really just had an extra challenge to the game and are not in every single mission. XCOM isn't going to allow you to turtle overwatch your way through the map.
It's 11:04 at night.

Watched the Force Awakens (I honestly sort of black out after that bridge scene)
Now owns a kitten (Long story that involves my mother meowing like a cat and a kitten popping out of the hood of a neighbor's truck)
Played tons of Team Fortress 2 (PYROLAND WEAPONS!!! :la:)
Played tons of Splatoon (this game is strangely addicting...plus I don't have anyone yelling at me for gaming whilst female)
Pre-ordered XCOM 2 (I'm sorry, Totalbiscuit. I had to get a physical copy of the game)
TAXES (yay....adulthood....yay....)
Re-watched all the Harry Potter movies
Had a David Bowie listening marathon

I have been double checking my calendar as of late. The weather outside, the falling colourful leaves, the clothes people wearing/I am wearing, the pumpkin spice latte that my Starbucks addicted friend gets, and my sketch journal all tell me that it is November (which by the way, IT'S GUY FAWKES DAY :squee: !!! To bad that the States will think you're a terrorist if you set off fireworks). However, when I go into work and as I am working, I start to believe that we are in December. Seriously, people, WE ONLY HAVE 50 DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS!! 50 !! GO INTO PANIC MODE SHOPPING RIGHT NOW !! Wait, what's that? There's a holiday in between Halloween
